Have questions about practices, games, communication, or how to stay organized this season? You’re in the right place. South Burnaby Metro Club uses League Apps—a free and easy-to-use team management app—to simplify how families, coaches, and players stay connected.

Through leagueapps, you’ll get real-time updates, schedules, team chat, attendance tracking, and event reminders—all in one place. Whether you’re new to the app or just need a refresher, this FAQ has everything you need to get set up and stay informed.

Explore the most common questions below to get the most out of your SBMC season—on and off the court.

  • 1. How do I start the registration process?

To begin, visit our registration portal and click “Register Now” on the division that matches your child’s age. If you are a new family, you will be prompted to create a Parent Account first. Once your account is active, you can add your children as “sub-profiles” and register them for their specific programs.

  • Can I use my LeagueApps login from another sport?

Yes! If you have used LeagueApps for basketball, soccer, or another club, you can use the same email and password. When you log in, the system will recognize your existing “Family Account,” making it much faster to register for baseball.

  • 3. I get an error saying "Email already exists." What should I do?

This usually means you already have a LeagueApps account with another organization. Instead of creating a new account, click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. LeagueApps will send a reset link to your email so you can access your existing profile.

  • 4. How do I know which division to select for my child?

LeagueApps is set up with “Age Rules.” When you enter your child’s birthdate, the system will automatically show you the eligible divisions (e.g., 7U, 11U, 13U). If you feel your child should play in a different division due to skill level, please complete the standard registration first and then contact our Registrar for a manual review.

  • 5. Can I register multiple children at once?

Yes. After completing the information for your first child, look for the “Register Another Person” button before proceeding to the checkout page. This allows you to pay for all family members in a single transaction.

  • 6. What if I want to volunteer while registering my child?

During the registration flow, you will see a section for “Volunteer Roles.” You can select “Head Coach,” “Assistant Coach,” or “Team Manager” right there. This ensures our coaching coordinators see your interest as soon as registration is complete.

  • 7. Does LeagueApps support payment plans or subsidies?

Yes. At the checkout screen, you will often see an option to “Pay in Full” or select a Payment Plan (if available for that season). If you are applying for a subsidy through KidSport or Jumpstart, please select the “Financial Aid/Check” payment option and email our Treasurer with your application confirmation.

  • 8. How do I request a specific teammate or coach?

In the “Player Information” section of the registration form, there is a field for “Teammate/Coach Requests.” While we cannot guarantee all requests (especially in older competitive divisions where teams are drafted), we do our best to accommodate them for Blastball and T-Ball.

  • 9. Is my registration complete if I haven't paid yet?

In most cases, your child is not considered “fully registered” until payment is received or a payment plan is initiated. If a division reaches capacity, spots are typically granted to those who have completed the payment process first.

  • 10. How do I see my child’s schedule after registering?

Once teams are assigned, you can view the schedule by logging into your Member Dashboard on the website or by downloading the LeagueApps Play app. Use the same login credentials you used for registration to see game times, field locations, and RSVP for events.
